Most of the fun and adventure in Scouting is concentrated
in our day, overnight and longer trips. They say three quarters of scouting is (sc)...outing.
Check the calendar
now for upcoming outings. Sign up at the troop meeting, more details can be found

Outdoor Program Sampler
Troop 582 has a very active outdoor program, because that is where the fun is. We
DO a huge variety of things in Troop 582. From staying the night on a submarine,
to sewing clothes to keep you warm in the wet northwest. From overnight camps to
week long treks through the mountains. Swimming, kayaking, river rafting, SCUBA,
rock climbing, horseback riding, gold panning... well watch the video and see if
you can count all the different activities! And then come DO them with us, its more
fun if you're there!

Oh, the fun you'll have! Desert camp is fun for everyone, but is often the first
outing that a new scout will go on. Watch the video, don't miss it!
